Joyeux Noël!

Christmas in Japan is not a family gathering. It is Valentine's Day. You need a boyfriend/girlfriend and have a romantic dinner in a western style restaurant (this is Japan). My daughter (16) hinted she wanted to do exactly that. I refused. Too young. But I proposed to be the cook at home. Boyfriend was invited. An opportunity to check him out. He seems to be a nice guy.
